The Chassis view displays the chassis that exist at the current scope level. You can add new chassis, and edit or delete existing chassis from this view.
In addition, you can use the Actions menu to:
Recover Obsolete: Recover deleted chassis record(s).
Purge: Purge chassis record(s).
You cannot purge a chassis record, if the chassis is a part of a unit in the Units view (on page 1).
Export SNX File: Export the selected chassis as an XML file using the snx.xsd format.
Update Chassis Properties (on page 1): Update chassis properties.
Update Chassis Ownership (on page 1): Update chassis ownership.
To add a new record:

In the list view, select the record(s) that you want to edit or delete.
Do one of the following:
